He wasn't thinking of killing himself, nor was he bent on suicide until he found no other way out.

Cop chases happen all the time......and like this video obviously proves, there are people that are NOT going to respect the law and simply 'pull' over.

I would provoke someone with a gun to my head, yes. I've done it before, lol. They're either gonna shoot or back off. Knowing first hand the type of person it takes to pull the trigger, I put my money on people backing down. It comes down to survival instinct. Most people are not willing to accept the consequences of taking a life.
