I just came from a meet - if it's just me, please correct me BUT what's up w/ all these DC2 / DC5 / EP3 / Civic / Integra guys????


They have no love for Accord / Prelude guys. It really gets me

It just seems like it's only about "their" cars & all other cars are just not worth fixing up / not worth talking about or looking at - I HATE CLOSE-MINDED PEEPZ.

well today is a thursday, meets on thursday are wack haha. i feel you though, you need to be like tim or joey to get respect in the scene. tim is with team superstar who has great presence in the 626 area while joey is co founder of 13 devils and both have unique rides.

like jesus said check the regionals for meets, youll feel alot better when your among yourselves

Let's build it up - if there's enough support for it, it could turn into something worthwhile & going to Options / ICB / Ebay, etc. won't be the only source or option for all of us.

i agree, "tuner-kids" are the people u are running into. they believe their car's the best, and because "their" car is the best all other's like it are the best as well.. and the number one "tuner" car are civic's/integra's. Don't let those fools get to you, even though it's pretty hard.. lol.

Honda's are Honda's. No matter what you put into them, they're still not the best. They are, however, good looking, fun, moderate, and tuneable. I've never understood why people hold civic's and Integra's on such a pedestal. They're still FWD....

Dont mind them they are just into that hype through the magazines of what people hear and believe in. Just about any car can be hooked up and made to run fast. You on the other hand represent us which is different.

You see I go through this alot as i recently had my last cb7's if it doesnt look fast let em think that once they laugh at you prove em wrong on the street. From then on theyll respect you not because of what you had itll be because the impression that you made on them that no matter what you have, its originality that seperates you from everyone else and that cannot be taken away. No matter how much they try to fit in or look down on you.

dude dont worry about those kids. they're just assholes. you just have to learn to live with that. i go through that every year, but every time some kid puts me down, i go take it to the street and show his whats up.

Horrible idea to take it on the streets. Don't encourage street racing, it's not safe...no matter the conditions.

Don't worry about the guys hating on your car because it's a "grocery getter." You're just running into a bunch of stereotypical guys out there that ruin the scene for a lot of enthusiasts. Meet up with people you know are cool, and you'll have a great time!

Thx for the kind words guys. Tonitez my first official cb meet here in LA so hopefully it'll turn out a lot better than yesterday's. After a good night's rest & putting that behind me, it's a new day

ohh please dude. most of the kids here have never went to a track, even if we go its an hour away. so ill have to leave at like 7:30 and get home about 1am. ehh id do it, but the other guys wont. i dont encourage it, i just agree to it. if someone wants to race me on the street i go for it. but im a very cautious person. and always look around for people and cops.

Yep. I never liked Civics.
