Test fitted my JDM bumper the other day...

(yes, i know my hood is messed up, its getting replaced) For some reason the Xenon lips bow down in the middle. That issue will be addressed too.

Bumper pole action. (yeah, my wheels are dirty)

I dint put the side screws, so it will actually end up fitting tigheter. (and now you can see the gloss black trim on my JDM headlights)

For thoes of you who dont know, Japan has paper thin crash requirements, thus different bumper supports. The USDM bumper supports run into the JDM headlight supports, so this bumper fits WAAAAY better, and is WAAAAY lighter.

I also have a set of intersection lights (curtiousy of accord_inspire) that are going in too (i just have the light harness, surrounds, and lights themselves). Im going to rape the relays and assorted parts out of a J30 Maxima to get it working (they had intersection lights too. )

Oh, and incase I dint mention it, im putting my car down for the rest of the year. Im going to be doing all the body work, engine swap, and suspension throught the rest of the year, and the beginning of next year. Im currently driving a 1990 J30 Maxima, and let me tell you, that thing hauls!

bleh.. i dunno if this would look right.. but id say paint the bumper body color..and leave the lip white.. to match ur stripes.. teheh.. i unno would like cool to me..

The chrome strip looks good. Now you just have to find matching door mouldings and a back bumper.

Yeah, ive actually contacted a couple companies about that. As for the strip, that is actually getting painted black to match my headlight trim. Along with the trim on my JDM taillights, and all the other chrome trim on the car. I dont know, it just looks sleeker without chrome.

Actually, were going to texture and paint the bottom part of the lip, to go with the other OEM sideskirts and rear lip. I originally, dint even want an aftermarket lip or anything, but I had to jump on this bumper, and im glad I did.

Well, cant say i knew that they had the fender stripes. My friend and I have them on our cars. You could call it a tag if you want.

As for the bumper, I cut the holes for my intersection lights, and got them fitted. I also removed the chrome strip(getting painted same as my headlight trim) and bumper pole for painting purposes, and got the lip and bumper itself sanded down. Im acutally on my way to go prime them tonight. Ill post some pics when I get a chance.

Well folks, i dint get my bumper sanded down the rest of the way like i had hoped. We ran out of 6" 80 Grit (for the palm sander) and 220 just dosent cut it. So I ended up cleaning up the gouges in the surrounds for my intersection lights (Bondo Glaze) and prepped the chrome trim on my JDM Taillights for paint along with the chrome trim on the front of the bumper (it comes off, there are some tabs on the back.)
