i thought gas prices are supposed to be really expensive? the oil barrels hit an all time high for 20 years yet, i saw a gas station in the bay area selling for under $2/gal (thats an all time low* since 9/11, lol)

Gas price thread! 89 in Nebraska is 1.75, and 1.70 over in Iowa. Since Ethanol is a product of corn, and there's corn everywhere here, it's cheap.

haha yeah i know, the highest grade we have here is 91, no 93 to be found. Anyone have any idea why this is so?

But hey, there are some perks about living in this state. ZERO smog testing, cops lax on speeding, hell, for a while we didnt even had a damn speed limit on the highway.
