Someone called in to a radio station I was listening to today and requested a song... "Underdog" by Spoon. Great song, and totally relevant

I wanted the Patriots to win, honestly. I wanted to see a perfect season in my lifetime, and being an Eagles fan, I simply CAN'T like the Giants!

Still, it's a pretty good story for the Giants as well. They have a relatively unknown team. They struggled to win every game that brought them to the Superbowl, and they put up a HELL of a fight to win that as well. They definitely knew the strengths and weaknesses of the Patriots, and they used that knowledge to their advantage (rushing Brady often to tire him out, keeping their guys fresh to do so... limiting the amount of time he had to pass to anyone further than 15 yards away...). They did a hell of a job. They didn't win because NE screwed up... they won because they fought. And they fought damn hard.

yeaaaa it wanted the pats to win since i hate the giants ...but im not one of those kids thats going to bitch beacause a team won or lost.....my only thing is Eli manning MVP is that a joke....he should of had 3 int i it wasnt for 2 drops....Tuck the DL for the giants should have gotten it (they would never give to a lineman) or Wes Welker of the pats should have gotten it...

Theres always next season..when you perfect the 16-0 in the regular season and then an 18-0 record..then you have a right to brag.

I was a bit disappointed the Pats lost but hey doesn't mean they will come back more determined than ever.

They showed the anyone that they could go that far. And I'm proud of my home team regardless if they lost the SuperBowl.

I like Tom Brady because he doesn't show any kind of idiotic response if the team loses...nor does he beg the home crowd not to sell to the opposing team.

Thats what Payton did...then again him or his kid bro haven't led their teams to a three year win of the SuperBowl.

Like I said..let them have their victory..we'll still be back next year.

I think we were the most hated team ever because of our constant wins..and NO losses, then again it's human nature to be jealous and envious of a team that made that record happen again since the 1972 Miami Dolphins.

It was just an overall good game to watch. There was alot at stake and really could've went either way. It was weird how everyone left when there was still time on the clock but Tom Brady was getting abused all game. But everyone should admit that the final drive for the giants was great. The pats beat everyone they played up to that point, that is something worthy in its own right. I doubt they'll do it again but it was great how everyone thought the moment the giants beat the packers that the pats were an automatically lock to win the superbowl. Tom Brady is good but Wes Welker was pretty much the only player the pats had that actually did some sort of damage to the giants all game long. Hopefully because of him, it'll open some doors for the two slotbacks coming out my fav. college team.
