So saturday, my roommate and I get up to the mtn and 2nd run... we were about to come onto the groomed run and he eats shit. I didnt see what he did, but i heard him yell fuck a couple times.. He cruises over to me and says, "i think theres a gouge in my forehead..."
He turns toward me and im like, holy shit! hes getting stitches for sure. i say, "you're getting stitches for sure dude, lets get to the medic's." i tie a bandana over it so it stops bleeding. we make it down, no medical shit. the guy tells us to make it back up the top and get over to the upper lodge. He has me look at it again and i pretty much see his skull, i tie the bandanna tighter and we get to some medics at the top lodge. they take him down to the medic center at the base and the stitch him up with 8 stitches. He's ok and said he was having fun till that happened. He handled it surprisingly well, i thought he wouldve been hurting BAD....
He is really good at skateboarding and snowskating... He snowboarded once before in HS and then again a couple weeks ago.. so basically his second time boading... Hes done the best ive seen anyone start out at snowboarding... BUT a couple big factors came into play with his fall, he needs to learn stopping control and total control over the board....
