For a lip, it's not the weight but the size that will make the shipping outrageous. It'll be cheaper to drive down and pick it up. MD isn't far at all.

I would say more around 2-3lbs maybe.
My lip wasn't heavy in the slightest. My was a Legend coupe though. 
3 CB's gone....

I cut up a box and made it to fit around the curves of the lip and it only cost 18 to ship to canada with UPS.

I can get the CD5 lips cheap... at least I used to be able to. Have to check my source again. I didn't bother trying to sell them due to the shipping hassle, though.
