It really is cool. A hell of a lot better than Google... where every other result is a link to a poorly organized ebay scam page! Hondoogle only searches the quality Honda sites (mostly forums) that the owner put into the database.
You'll notice that the CB7tuner search feature has a Hondoogle option as well.

yeah i did notice the cb7 search feature pretty freeking cool imo i hate searching for hours things up and getting no where now u can go somewhere
The original search is great if you know what you're looking for. I use it to find stuff written by certain members with thousands of posts (myself, very often... ) The Hondoogle feature is useful when you want to search for a string of words... which most people do.
been using Hondoogle since I first heard about it, and still love it! No pesky ads popping up trying to sell me a friggen volvo when i searched for a h23 head swap lol. But i remember way back when, when you first got it up, someone asked ou if your logo would get you in any trouble from Google (i.e. same font and color scheme)...has anythgin come from that yet?
either way, great job dude, I could never own a sucessful website (directed at Deevs too lol)

Nah, Google is far to busy to take down a site that gets 30 visitors a day. Besides, they make money from the Ads on the right hand side (Which are part of the Google Custom search API, nothing I can do about them), so its a win for them anyway.
What kind of process, if any, did it take to get usage rights for that name? Or were there any?
step 1. Open photoshop
step 2. use text tool to type "HONDOOGLE"
step 3. Apply brushed aluminum filter
step 4. Colorize letters
step 5. Post to internet
Seriously though, there are thousands of sites which actually have the word GOOGLE in the domain name and Google doesn't say anything.
They do not have the word "Hondoogle" trademarked, so its fair game.
Plus, it uses their technology, with credit, as well as their advertising. It's not offensive in any way (now... pornoogle might be questionable ) so they have nothing to lose... and everything to gain from it!
