IIght a couple of days ago.....i woke up and went to go turn on my car and i seen a crack from the left side of the front windshield....it was about 2 inches long..... well today ive noticed that its like 4.5 inches long.....i just wanna no how much does a front windshield go and if they come with that blanck tint on the top like the original.......????

yeah depending on the car when you go up to the glass repair shop theyll replace it with basically the same color . Not only that unless you see it leaking while your driving when it rains i wouldnt worry too much about it but when it comes to the size of a spiderweb when its realy really visable then yeah get it changed but if its a tinly little crack no worries.Originally posted by beanzfynest617 -

Dont know how they run things on New York...but up here in Mass, if you get stopped by a local PD and the crack in the windshield gets noticed...your get a ticket and possibly told to immediately take it off the road.Originally posted by h22sparkle

Your best bet is to find someone with a smaller business in replacement autoglass they're a hell of allot cheaper.Henry R

around here, i think it is around 100 installed and they travel however it may be extra.Comment

It should be around ~$300 around the Boston area. It should be covered by insurance, depending on coverage. Get it taken care of ASAP, take hard turns and it will increase in size.Comment
