    Billionaire CB7 Owner!

Looking at rich people on Forbes.com this morning and came across this.

    David Cheriton
    $1.4 billion
    Country: Canada
The Stanford professor introduced students Sergey Brin and Larry Page to venture capitalists at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers; he was rewarded with a large chunk of Google stock. Cheriton prefers to ride his bike, though he also drives a 1993 Honda Accord or a 1986 Volkswagen camper. Lives in the same Palo Alto home he bought in 1981. He flies commercial, and cuts his own hair rather than wasting time and money going to a barber.

Wonder if he did the ROH conversion to minimize rotor replacement labor charges
"I'm a dude playing a dude, disguised as another dude"
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."

    Romans 10:9

You don't get any more rich by spending money. Some of the wealthiest people around shop at thrift stores. Why? Because they're smart with their money. Nothing wrong with that.

              Anyways, cool stuff. Go Canada!

It doesn't even look like he knows how to cut his hair . He needs to get his shit lined up somewhere in the hood. His hair looks like he just mopped up the ghetto.

I know how to cut hair, i've been cutting my hair, my brothers hair, some buddies, etc for the past 6 years but if I ever become millionaire i will put a great barber on my payroll and let him do it. Just because you know how to do something doesnt mean you should he needs to share the wealth and get a damn barber.

How do you think Wal mart operates? Same principles go the cheapest route possible. And that has made them successful lol. If you think about it (even though he sucks at cuttin hair) paying 11-12 bucks every couple months adds up.

yeah, but i bet he makes that in interest alone in like a day, probably less.

I guarantee you the money has nothing to do with it. There is a little thing called "opportunity cost" that middle class people don't seem to understand. The best i've ever heard it put is like this:

The poor often live frugally, not realizing that time is more important than money. The rich realize that time is more valuable than money because with time you can make money, but with money you cannot make time. They understand the principal of opportunity cost and do not hesitate to spend $1,000 for someone to paint their house if during that time they can make $3,000 working at what they do best.
It has nothing to do with his income, it has to do with his time. Rich People are busy people, even if they "got lucky" like this guy seems to have done.
