ok my buddy is going too pick this car up from someone of craigslist and the trans is blown on it. i dont know alot about the mitu world but arnt they the same as the dodge DSMs and are the trans compatable with like a lazer or tallon? any help is great

Same thing, It depends on the year though.

The transmissions are NOT interchangable between the 420A (chrysler) and 4g63 (mistu) motors.
I also believe the AWD and FWD versions are NOT interchangable. I could be wrong on that one though.
