Everything is already on the car, as i feared the stupid AC Delco wires disintegrated in my hand as they are known to do; now i am waiting for my new wireset to arrive(Taylor ThunderVolt) and my ECU should be on its way back from EFI Performance at Henrico VA. I have Back in Black ready to play since i couldnt find Razors edge at Walton's Mart.

Ok so after coming back from vacation I finished putting everything in the car, headers and 3xhaust were a pretty straight forward deal and over the weekend I had received my new wires with ECM arriving Monday. First impression at start up was holy hell my neighbors will hate me on Saturday when I leave at 5am, I drove it to Gas Station after dumping some high octane to bring up levels to 91-93 and I was not impressed at the way the car felt but further research revealed that I had to pull fuses to clear stored fuel tables for regular gas and thus the ECM would have to run the premium tables. I woke up this morning and installed the fuses so I could drive it to work, first open empty street I found I punched it and all I have to say is that it was violent, trying to be impartial I picked up my buddy who owns a Coyote mustang for a test drive; seeing him trying to find something to grab onto during acceleration and hearing his remarks of how much faster my car feels than his I must say that I am satisfied and will be leaving it at this power level.

Just installed a Hellwig Rear sway bar at its highest setting which is supposed to increase handling by close to 50%, bought a Spohn front tie bar to die down the front of the car much in the way a strut bar does but from the underside of the car; i went this route because 10-11 require drilling to install strut bar due to 12 and up being the models that come pre set for strut bars and better suspension since GM was setting up the 1le to be ready for ZL1 and Z28. I need to get a video for you guys to hear. Oh yeah i also converted my driving lights to foglights to improve visibility.

Ok so updates, the tie bar did not fit as it is not meant to fit applications fitted with long tube headers which is idiotic that a performance part does not fit a performance modified vehicle.
In the last week i

replaced the headlights(bottom) with the new ones since the output was lacking to say the least.

IMG_20190527_142434 by Jesse Gonzalez, on Flickr Installed a transmission cooler since during "spirited driving" my trans temp would sit at 180*, i mounted the cooler (Hayden 679) using the top holes using 8x1.25 bolts and fabricated a "mounting bracket" using metal from hardware store; total cost of this mod was about $80 and it DOES keep trans temps down to 150.

Here she is with new lights installed and a "SLP style" lip.

How difficult would the 8 speed swap be? I'm sure it bolts up, but would it play nice with the rest of the computers?
1. The cost of the new transmissions is a bit exorbitant.
2. The 8 speed is old history now that there is a 10 speed.
Over at the Camaro groups seems that people actually fit the 4 speed 4L80s in due to the robust build of the 4L80 and ability to be built to handle power, The 6L80 is not a bad transmission BUT lacks support in the sense that everything is electronically controlled.
PS. Sonik i already started breaking stuff as is, im having driveline noise that i am almost certain is coming from the driveshaft in some kind of way due to YO BOY either damaging the carrier bearing or breaking/loosening driveshaft bolts.
and all due to this!

Finally installed my Heritage grille, its supposed to make the 5th gens more resemblant of the 1st gen camaros. the paint job i did came out sub par but hell i figured its gonna get smashed by debris at high speeds anyway. Then i added a few coats of bed liner to the shinny intake pipe in hopes of helping with air temps and because i hated that stupid shiny pipe on there.
