$5000 can get what used car?

The 90 Accord is near its end of its practical useful life. I can spend $5k on another used car, but eventually it will need repairs. I can put some more money as a down payment for new car financing. If my monthly payment can be $300, that like $10/day (not including insurance).

u can get alot of good cars for 5000. to give you an example....a buddy of mine bought a 96 eagle talon with a full body kit, chrome wheels, exhaust, SRI, custom dashboard, engine start button, etc. for about 2500....the car had 107k miles on it when he got it..not bad! Then he bought a 99 cougar 5spd v6 for i think right at 5000.
There are no black and white suspension answers!!!!!!!!!!!

Just hit up the local dealerships/check ads in the area for cars. Test drive and look over everything. Find the one you like the best. I can't suggest a certain car, but I'm sure you'll find something good.

Sounds good. I need a change and a new or another used car is a start.
A used car I like is the 2000/2001 Nissan Maxima GLE, but to get one with low miles is about $6500. How about the new 2007 Honda Accord?
