Altima SE-R Opinion

Yeah so I plan on buying a car before this year is over and I think I am going with a 05-06 Nissan Altima SE-R. I am in love with that car. Does anyone know anybody who has that car, if so how do they like it. What your opinion about that car? Thanks

One of those came through at my job as a used car a few months ago (I work as a detail tech for a large string of car stores). I think it was a '05. Sadly it was a autotragic. But it did have some REAL GO POWER. And a nasty exhaust note

i drove one. I'm a sucker for the import sedans and this one didnt let me down. Its a fun ride, and depending on how much you can nab one for I say go for it. Its a hot looking sedan too, the forged 18's really set it off. While searching for my latest family sedan, the price point of the SE-R deterred me. the VQ is one of my favorite motors which is why to this day i still would like to own a 350z, max or the alt se-r. are you looking at the 6-spd manual or the 5 auto?

No with that car and that power I need the 6 MT. The SE-R are hard to find. I plan on getting an all black one with tints.

The specs are damn near identical to the Maxima, even the weight.

It's a heavy car, but definitely the best looking Altima ever. FWD bugs me, though. It's time for Nissan to make the Altima/Maxima AWD or RWD!

To me its nothing special, I prefer driving the Maxima.

Love the Altimas...and the newer Maximas, they look very comfortable and have some pretty good power

i like that Altima a lot too. Especially the rims. I want to buy them and put them on my '97 240

I really want the 6MT but I live in New York and it is the worst. I am thinking of going with the automatic now I dont know I need to drive it.
