          I know the nissan skyline is my dream car but hell for that much i can buy a dodge viper and smoke the hell out of that IMO

                              Not likely. Put them on a well balanced complex track like the ring, and see who owns who. The GT-R is THE fastest car around that track. The insight into that claim is that it favors cars that excel in all dimensions, not just speed, handling or braking. In order to run that track fast, the car has to do all well, because the track requires it.

                              Besides, the new 600HP Viper isn't appreciably faster than the Vette until well over 100MPH.

                              Not saying the Viper isn't a good car, but it does show typical American priorities more than some other cars.
