nice little setup you got going. I used to read those 4wd mags before i got into the import tuning scene...always wanted a jacked up truck...do the massive tires affect your mpg alot? looks nice man. must sound good with an intake and exhaust.

i'm sure the tires effect it some. i know a guy with a stock one and he only gets like 20mpg on the highway.
intake and exhaust are in the plans..but h22 has to be in the accord first
well this past weekend I tore into the Jeep the most I have yet. This was to install front tow hooks. Required removing the front grill, bumper, bumper brackets, and some minor cutting of the front air dam. Yes those are sealed beam headlights, and the light output SUCKS!
just ordered a 2" receiver/hitch and a receiver shackle/d-ring holder. This will serve as a retrieval point (if needed) and there is a possibility I may be getting a jet ski soon, so i'll need a way to pull it.

You get a jet ski and you will be taking me skiing.
Man, that's a nice XJ. I picked up a 96 Grand Cherokee about a month and a half ago. It's 2wd tho, but it's got the 4.0L and 272k miles. Still gets about 20 in town and 25-27hwy. ~500 miles to a tank with a 23 gallong tank, you do the math.
1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo
4.0L I-6 2WD
293k miles, still running strong.
Freshly rebuilt transmission.

with the gas light on i can put 14.8 gals in it, and get between 220-250 miles to a tank, and thats if its alot of interstate.
