97 Accord Factory CD Player Problem.
My 97 Accord came stock with a cassette am/fm radio. I went to the junkyard and picked up a factory cd player from the same year and model Accord. Installed the cd player and put a cd in. The cd player would just spit out the cd without playing a single song. All the other components of the radio work. I read online that I should clean the laser lens with a cd player disc cleaner which I will try this afternoon. Does anybody else have any ideas of what it could be? I also used both burnt cd's and original copies neither worked.

Alright so I went to Wal-Mart and picked up this Memorex OptiDisc.
It is supposed to be a laser lens cleaner and it helps you check your speakers and radio connections. Well after running it through all the tracks which took about 5 minutes, it worked! I popped in a cd and it read it fine! The OptiDisc only cost $8 bucks and I'm pleased to be able to use my cd player now!
