Need resistors replaced in ECM any computer fellas still around?

Have an 02 rav4 was fine yesterday that just started shifting harsh and Toyota had a recall on the 01-03 ecms causing such issues. I'm by no means able to tackle computer stuff but this is our dd (I do restorations she works 2nd shift as CNA so it gets drove a lot) and looking for some help to fix the board and or resistors and this site has some that I remember seeing that do ecu stuff figured id ask here first before blowing $250+ On repair because theirs some real genius when it comes to the electronic aspect of things here.

If I've crossed any lines mods please let me know, just looking for help.

I'm not exactly sure on what will need replaced asfar as I've read it's never just the same resistors going bad. It's a big common issues I called Toyota just to see if there was a chance I could still get the recall and no dice. Hell it's only got a 120k on it kept up good since we've been together I wouldn't figure it be a transmission issue and would rather start simple first.

I just googled that issue a bit. It looks like it's a cold/broken solder joint problem. And they are the big power resistors. Could you get some good pics of the board?

Take your time, I know I hate working in the cold.

What is your skill level on electronic stuff ? Is it CB7 only or can you do others ? I'm asking because I have a bad TCM from a 93 Yamaha fzr 600.

I can solder down to 0.4mm pitch components, bga stuff, multilayer boards, etc.

With that being said, anything made in the 90s is usually a piece of cake for diagnostics and repair

I don't get into electronic stuff to that point. I read on line that it is a resistor that tends to burn out and need replaced. Not something I would do myself. I can solder but wouldn't really know about getting the correct parts.

Did they mention the value of the resistor? Usually a burned resistor is open so you can't measure it and the colors are burned off so you can't read it. Double whammy
