CB7 vs. Talon...Kill for me? or him?

He was behind me and i noticed him kinda shaking his head, looking at me and i could read his lips..."stupid honda".(i think he thought he would blow me outta the water) I kinda laughed to myself and smiled at him. We turned left at the light and i got over to the right lane to see if he would try and pass/'fly-by' on me. Im assuming (from what i saw) he gunned it after hitting 2nd and i was already in 2nd and a 2 car lengths ahead of him when we started. Through 2nd and into 3rd i noticed i pulled just a hair on him. 3rd to 4th, same lengths, no pull for me or him. I quit at the top of 4th which is around 5200 rpms for me...still same length when i let off. He ran 4th longer and when he shifted into 5th he was right next to me and i heard his ppssshh. I looked and his side windows were tinted so i didnt get to see the jawdrop... i felt like it was an even race other than me pulling just a little on him.

TSi was awd turbo. 2g dsm werent all that reliable. Even people babying the car crankwalked the car. Shows how reliable mitsu engineering was. Something about improper bearing clearances. Anyway 1g is a diff story and thats what I would buy.

95-96's weren't reliable...per se.......there's been many people that have modified, ragged the hell out of them and are still running.

                        it's almost 50/50

But the 4G63 is easily one of the most reliable Turbo engines ever produced, and for performance at that.
