Mazdaspeed proteje

I raced my boy last night in mazdaspeed proteje turbo and I pulled on him 1 car lenght, i checked on the specs and has almost the same specs like a jetta and jetta slap me all day

if you are a normal f22 then no. driver error on his part. jettas have way more torque then mazdas do. HP are roughly the same but torque murders proteges. i should know..i own one lol

I have a f22a4, and he did beat two times but i beat him two times too and the fifth run both of us got beaten by a camaro ss lol.

The 2003 Mazdaspeed Protege's were rated at 170hp and like 160tq weren't they?

i thought they were 200hp and like 160tq? eh soem bs like that. basically all they are is a mazda protege with a turbo kit. internals and what not are exactly the same as a basic protege. they have a ecu and turbo..big whoop.


jettas and golfs are no joke. they would stomp my h22 like i was standing still

edit: yea the MSP had 170hp with 155tq

It must have been your auto or, you had something else wrong, because I ran a new GLI with mine and he had nothing. I pulled just slightly on top, but not really enough to worry about.

i raced a ;98 jetta with my a1 with a SRI and beat him on the top end. he stuck with me til like 90. after that, i pulled.
