    F22a 1/8th mile times

Hey ladies and gents I have an interesting question. I'm interested in what everyone is running in the 1/8th mile with their F22 motors.

With H23a1 trans, Stock motor f22a1, P12 computer, Ebay intake, H23a1 header, stock cat, and 2.25 exhaust I ran 10.2 I feel like I could go faster had I not wheel hopped so much.

I've seen a few threads like this but they're always turbo or h swap. I'm interested in stock or semi built F22 numbers. It's my daily but I do enjoy the local drag events from time to time and just wanna get an idea of where I stand.

Please try to post in the correct section. This isn't a technical question at all.

Keep in mind that every engine wears and tears differently. Not to mention driver experience can vastly vary ETs.

Never seen a common bolt on F22 cb run faster than a 10.7 i've seen as slow as mid 11's. My b1 auto ran a 10.9, my first cb in 06 I/H/E delta cam mild head work ran a 10.4. All on F trans and stock ecu's still slow my stock 375k eg ex sedan ran a 10.4 @65.

Transmission is one of the biggest upgrades for the F's.

Eh well I thought it was a good place to put it. Appreciate the input. Friend of mine has a 96 that ran 10.3 I think. Motors aren't half bad but I never thought you guys would tell me they normally run so slowly lol

What were you expecting from a 20+ year old car that might make 115whp?

lol I wasn't expecting race car times. I'm happy with what I ran. My 23 year old LS ran 9.5 1/8th mile times. There by no means fast times but based off of "power" ratings the times aren't half bad I feel. Maybe I'm wrong? It's just a hobby I don't know all the technical jumbo. I just build em and race em.

It was necessarily directed at anyone. I guess you or the OP could have taken it either way.

But regardless we can sit up here and ponder all day long and it won't put a single drag slip in anyone's glovebox.
