so i raced a celica last night, it looked pretty old, maybe like 87-90sum?? it was hatch back 2 door, dude i guess had a intake and exhaust, i think thats it. he was with 3 people in his car and me too. i have cai, exhaust. on a dx with a a6 motor (btw i seriously need a tune-up). so we race and i pulled on him 2 times in first gear but grinded 2nd and he past me, i cought his door but thats about it. they were pretty short races maybe 1/8 mile. maybe i would beat him if it were longer. he said his clutch was slipping, my tranny was slipping.
i think i could've murdered him with a tune up and maybe a little bit longer race. ima see if i find him and race him again.
i dont noe any spec's on that car, but what do u guys think? i noe i have a stronger motor but his power band does kick in earlier. i mean he cant be faster than a b16 hatch and i was neck and neck with some guys hatch...sooo......
