I wasn't gonna do this cause it might hurt some feelings but i just have to even if its considered genocide.
So i'm minding my own business riding around about to go to a club on saturday night and a 99ish silver prelude w/exhaust catches up to me...gives me a little look and speeds off. I'm a patient guy and figured i wouldn't chase him but for him to come to me. He gets stopped at a stop light and as i'm approaching it turns green, i pass him and he catches up to me just like predicted. Poor guy had his g/f in the car and decided he wanted to tempt me and look cool so he guns it a little to persuade me again as we're doing about 40mph.
I drop into 2nd and gun it as does he...but i could tell he had an automatic. couple seconds later i'm doing 80mph, let off, and he's about 7 cars behind
He catches back up to me and him and his girl are just wide eyed. They roll down the window and scream out "what the hell is in there!?!?" I tell them its turbo and they ask to hear it so i blow off for them. And then the guy screams out " i used to have a car just like that!" I coulda been an ass and said you should have kept it but i was nice and said i really liked his car and his rims.
He didn't even remotely try me again...and he didn't even speed past me like he was doing before. He just drove behind me doing like 5mph under the speed limit. Know your roll
And i do apologize for picking on preludes but he asked for it.
