On my way back home this afternoon from doing some things at school I was doing alittle sprited driving just because I was feeling good and I love to hear my car screaming when it croses over into Vtec.
So i'm on about a mile from my turn and this black coupe comes pretty quickly behind me going in and out of traffic and he blows past me and I knew he had some kind of Vtec motor cause thats all I heard with his exhaust(sounded pretty good) So I down shift and catch up to the lane next to him where we get caught at a light behind some cars so I just wait for the light and take off alittle faster than usual and he just takes off and gets infront of some cars that were blocking us in so I follow and just let her rip and start catching up to him and pass him up and continue to pull for a couple of car lengths till we come to a light and than its on.
He stayed about a car behind me and I just took off when the light changed (Didn't launch or anything) while he already got a head start on me. with his lead on me I just shifted through my first two gears at 7000-7200 little by little catching up to him but right when I was going to pass his bumper I see a car about 100-200 yards away so I just slow down, sastisfied that I would've got him I just roll up next to him and ask him what hes got and he replied with "B16". Didn't really ask anything else assuming he had the usual bolt ons. He was cool about the whole thing though with just a smile on his face and kinda laughing (Not in a rude way) while he asked me what I had and I told him. Our light turned green and he turned left and I just went to busted a U at the next street and went home.
His Civic was the 92-95 style coupe. I was nice though with Honda civic wheels (look like they were accessory wheels for the newer civics) a black paint job and projector headlights. I just have my H22 with a short ram intake. Sorry if the post was alittle long, it was my first time and didn't really know how to write it.
