A healthy N/A L28 has balls. Add a turbo to the equation its gets a bit better. Throw some meaningful modification at it, things get silly.

Depending on the condition of that motor, and how the moron drives, theres severe likelyhood that he will walk all over you.

But, that aside, why would you bother responding to someone who talks shit? He thinks he's better than you so he runs his mouth, etc etc, are you any better if you respond to his bullshit?

depends, u can put alot of things in those cars either than the stock motor, as someone mentioned turbo as well.

i seen some of those with ls1 motors and they haul ass....if the motor is well kept and stock he may have an advantage over you...weight too.

i have a 86 300zx... =) i got my ass spanked by a 260zx one day. guy took off at the light making it look like i was standing still. turned out to be a ls1 motor in it.

either way, they're like a 240, light, RWD, decent stock power. the l28e has 170hp stock, if i remember correctly, and it weighs about 2800lbs. so, it shouldn't be too hard for him, if he can drive. if he has mods, it might be even worse.
nevertheless, run him, you might surprise yourself.
i know some cars have surprised me in my 240.

n/a a 280 is freakin slow. the turbo is like a hair dryer. if he got a old school 300zx twin turbo or single turbo. how we would be talking. i drove a non turbo 280zx and i think i would tow my honda across the finish line faster than that thing would go.

like all is said,, it all depends on the motor etc,

but a friend i work wiith just go that exzact car except, motor swap gutted to the hilt, with 18inch slicks.

he raced my buddy charlie in his boosted civic, b18 fully built 19 psi at the moment..

well we took off in charlies car and dusty's 280 just freakin launched out the whole on the street. we couldn't keep traction in 1st through 3rd, feathering it the whole time,, at this point we were doing 90 mph, and we finally hooked and rapped him.. obviously his car was designed for 1/8 mile, it was pretty much topped out it seemed like. but his is a 3 speed slap shift..

but in looks his does not win,, in power you'd better not bet much
