wasted a mazda protege

so my girl and i are cruising around smokin a b, and we pull up next to a protege at a stoplight. It had the traditional oversized spoiler, loud raspy exhaust, and crappy paint job. I look over at him, look over the car, he looks at me, we do the nod. light turns green and i take off, but he doesnt. he just cruises normally.

we get to the next light and its a short light, right as we stop he starts to rev his engine, so i rev mine. light turns green and we both burn and take off. before i was even out of 1st gear i has already gained about a half a car. 2nd and i was still pulling further ahead, bout 2 car lengths by the end of 2nd. i kept goin till about 60, when i come to the next light. he pulls back up next to me.

i looked over at him for at least a minute, revving my engine, and he doesnt even look over at me. he took the first turn off that street.

Todays lesson: Stock accords FTW!!!

Cant wait till i get a camera, ill drive around all day filming runs. its all i do anyways

If it was the older protege those are slow as hell. I ran quite a bit with my a6 also.

Yea those are slow. I think the biggest motor they came with was the 1.8 DOHC which was shared in the ford escort. Yea that car wasnt quick lol I raced my buddies. THe autos are REALLY slow lol. Not really a fan of how the car is itself kinda disappointed with the overall ride and quality of the car. The newer ones however are a lot better.

My friend has a fairly new protege 5, its not too bad. its too big of a car though, makes it feel slow anyways.

I know it wasnt much of a kill, it was a had to be there thing. the dude putted around like his car was the shit, and my faded ass accord whooped him. just good ol fashioned fun

my brother had a '03 Protege. i beat him when i got my f22a6 put in. wasnt by too much due to the fact that i had an auto i didnt know about shifting in an auto. lol.

i know ill get tons of i got owned threads, i expect that, and im fine with that.
i just like to drive around, and there are some badass roads to cruise through in my town, i wanna get some footage of those.

and as far as where i race, im very picky about that. i only race on an open road, and i wont go rediculosly fast. thing is, the only non 1/4 track, is almost 7 hours from me, id go there, but its a lil far away

Better watch out on some Protoges though...some DO come stock turbo...and are pretty quick.

Yea but those are on newre ones stock. The older ones didnt have one unless the person decided to add it on later on.

Proteges are slow slow slow,my neighbor has a 97,and is always trying to race me,got owned from a 0-70 ugly (i was ahead like by 5 school buses LMAO!) and with my 17",also on da highway from 45-???, he was too far
