92 accord lx 15.4 @ 90 ... bS?

I think so .... accordztech ran a 16.91 in his 91 ex auto 4 door...

this guys tryin to tell me he ran a 15.4 in a 1992 accord lx auto 4 door with a short ram intake and all the seats removed .... i think at best he could run a mid 16 .... what do you guys think?

Oh and he said the backseat weighed 200 lbs which i also find hard to believe.

You guys are the 4th gen accord experts so i know ill get some accurate feedback on this ... peace.

15's sounds pretty hard to believe on an auto. shouldn't compare to an EX since EX's are pigs. (too many "luxury" components weighing it down.)

best i ever seen a manual cb7 run was 16.2 i think it was this one girl on this web site...

maybe 16.4 but at 90?? haha thats off...i was at 84mph when i hit 16.91....i say if he had to hit a 15.4 he would be at least at 98 mpg...and no way is his car fast as a civic SI.

tell him to park next to me, ill race him he can even gut out his whole interior...ill still whoop his butt...but only at the track!

im still stunned i hit 16.91....but then after i got like 17's....weather and atmospheric conditions i guess...

he said he will bring his timeslip to school tommorow ... but his brother has a bmw m3 so im pretty fuckin sure they ran that at the track and he is tryin to say the accord pulled that time.

HA. That would be me. I ran a 16.2 I don't remember the mph, but it was with intake and exhaust...
I don't believe this guy, there is NO WAY you can do better than a 16 in a car with i/e esp and auto. I had a 5spd and they are faster. The interior doesn't make much difference, although I know for a fact that the backseat doesn't weigh that much. I've taken it all out it's light. Plus every 100lbs. is only a tenth on the 1/4 mile. So it's not like it helps unless you gut your entire car. I only did the backseat and trunck, and it hardly did anything for me.

i had no idea cause ive never really fucked with my moms car but i took my backseat out of my 91 civic 4 door last week (its back in now) and it probably weighed 20lbs if that, which is why him saying 200 seemed a little off to me.

Ill keep you guys updated if he brings the timeslip tommorow.

and in case anyone is wondering ... im in fuckin college!!! shit ... there may be dumbfucks in high school that might believe that time but not at this age.

just to give you guys an idea about this guy ... he also tries to claim it as an EX with badge and all ... but it dont got a sunroof ... and i have heard in canada that the sunroof was an option but im pretty sure it wasnt here ... and i remember checking the engine code and it wasnt a f22a4. (but it was an f22 sohc non vtec)

its a sohc zc ... and i ran it on sunday and my best time was a 16.92 @ 83.2 mph ... with a slipping clutch.

If i convert it over to multi point fuel injection (from the 88-91 civic ex/si) ill drop almost a full second off my 1/4.

ive messed around with him on the freeway before though and it was pretty even.

oh yea and i love your sig man ... cracks me up!

If you need help with that conversion just drop me a line, I mean I can't be there and do it for you but I'll give you whatever help if you get stuck. I've done so many CRX DX's to SI's it's sick. I've also done allot of DX and SI OBD-1 conversions to run D15B's.

So I know that little car pretty well. So if you need anything just shout. My little brother's got an 88 CRX SI with a D15B turbo, tuned like garbage because he doesn't listen to me and with the craziest clutch slip on earth and that basterd is still fast as hell. Having a light car is awesome.
