V6 Camaro Owned

I raced my friend the other night. This was my first street race. He owns a V6 Camaro. He aways boasted about that domestic crap. I have a H22 LSD with bolt ons. I smoked him... twice. It was beatiful and he was very impressed by the power of VTEC. He also recently got a 300zxTT that he also boasts about instead of his Camaro, now days anyway.

This just in- V6 domestics(Mustangs and F-Bodies anyway) are not fast by any stretch of the imagination. Im sorry but the ego needs a good busting every once in a while.

The V6 Camaros and Firebirds are a LITTLE more respectable than V6 Mustangs in my book... though still pretty slow. I've beaten a V6 Firebird myself. It was fun though! I love taking out "American Muscle"... even when it's the wimpy variety. People with those cars often THINK they have something fast.

i agree about domestics owners being over cocky about their ride... throw a flowmaster setup on a v6 and they think they own the streets. but i wouldnt talk about civic drivers. yes for every nice one there are 10 that are apc'd out... but still they can be quick. i know quite a few personally that would smoke the shit outa me.

Yeah, Civics are strange... there are SO many out there that the entire spectrum is covered. Unfortunately, the properly tuned ones are more uncommon, but they are out there. I personally don't like Civics, but they DO have potential.

Howver, mxcx is right about the fact that half of the Civic drivers out there drive as if they are fast and furious... I got tailgated, buzzed, and cut off by some schmuck kid in a kitted Civic (unpainted kit)... it had the stock exhaust pipe sticking out, so you KNOW that bodykit was his only performance mod... and those fugly Alteeeeezas.... Nothing against kits, but kits do NOT make you fast!

I say H22's smoke any V6 cars w/ too much weight. On a side note, I beat a 350z the other night at the track, but he had a really sad launch. Still he ran a 15.1 which sucks for a Z.

An H22 Accord can beat just about any stock V6 Mustang, Firebird, or Camaro. Some of the German 6 cyl cars will probably still beat it, regardless of weight.

And 15.1 IS bad for a 350z! Wow. Yeah, those cars should kill us, but people don't know how to drive them it seems. I beat one myself once.

V6 auto, on a heavy car... Yeah, 18 is possible. Probably less if they shift manually, but if you let the auto do it's thing it'll probably get an 18
