Ice Racing is Awesome! 56K Warning

Today, I just went to watch some Ice Racing held by the Thunder Bay Autosports Club...seriously fun times....just waiting on the battery charger to get some pictures posted up.

The studded class gets some serious speed...

the FWD VW Scirocco was the fastest car there...although there is a faster AWD Sti, but that guy was racing in the US that day.

Most of those cars are old, cheap, and are crashable, thats why you don't see many new cars there :P

I am planning on buying a 96 Toyota Tercel and putting it through its paces.

A whole bunch of use went to the ice races today. Its the final race of the season.

We got to go down to the pits, check out all the cars, mingle with the fellow drivers and crews; a pretty cool bunch IMO. 8)
