Time to take off the winter tires?

Looks like the weather is holding out and Spring could finally be here, think I'm safe to put on the summer tires? I'm about to drive to Charlotte, NC next week for a conference. Having the summer tires back on would make driving a lot more fun!

My car has on summer tires year round. But then again I garage it

I took a road trip recently to Florida driving nonstop with my friend's car that has summer tires. It held up fine, it was actually better at high speeds. Have a fun and safe trip drive.

Thanks, of course summer tires will be better at higher speeds. The dilemma is how problematic could it be if there's random freezing temps or ice when I am back on z-rated tires. I'm gonna go for it and swap em out anyway! Don't want to put 1,000+ miles on the snow tires.

id say switch to summer tires for the drive down and back. and if it looks like snow after you get back, you can always put the winter tires back on. doesnt take too long...(assuming you have two sets of wheels)

Over here in the northeast we shouldn't be getting much snow and it won't stick around, so summer set is on. Nice to have that extra grip back.
