    Hey Bobby

I forgot to tell you about that shop you told me about a few years ago (Junior) and I had my family's belt done there. Thanks for that.

So any cheap place to take care of this nagging door latch issue? I'm in Manhattan but would travel. I read about a guy here who took it to a shop and they wrecked his door (using a prybar) trying to fix the door latch.

          sorry for the late response

Junior is gone to Long Island

if you can pull off the panel next to the rear seat you can access the screws that hold the striker, remember they are torqued down.

oh snap. coupe or sedan ?

            Bobby,

Its a 92 Coupe. I haven't taken off that panel next to the rear seat. I have only taken off the driver's side door panel.

If I am able to get that small panel off.......do the striker screws come out with ease?

It'd be best to begin pulling them by hand, then remove with drill and proper bit. they hold the striker plate down and can be a PITA although I've only had trouble once when lubricating it, and the track. This is on a coupe, correct?

on CG's I believe it's a nut too, for adjustment. Anyway give that a try.

                life is good.

Yes....its a coupe. I already have the driver's side door panel off and the rods are fine. So I know its the latch that has gone bad / frozen.

I was hoping if someone could tell me a decent shop that is good at repairing this issue etc.
