University of South Florida?

Does anyone go to the University of South Florida. I was going to go to UCF, but plans have most likely changed and will be taking a job soon in the Tampa area, and will be finishing my BS Degree there. I was just wondering about the area around USF as I have only been there once. Also if you go to school there, if you like the campus, the school itself, and all that.

Basically I am just looking for opinions about the USF/Tampa Area. Thanks fellas.

the tampa area is pretty good....around the school looks like a good area
and the school i dont....alot of my friends go there...but i dont talk 2 them anymore.

the office would be accross the street from the Ray Jay, and my folks live in Tarpon but i think thats too far away. I dont really want to live in the ghetto, but cant afford to live in the classy area. i wanted to stay near fletcher/fowler and bruce b downs if possible. maybe even gunn hwy. or sr 19. not sure yet. ill have to start looking at houses and such.

maybe west chase, carrolwood, citrus park, even as far as dunedin, curlew, or palm harbor. are these decent areas?

if you dont want 2 live in the ghetto then dont go 2 fletcher/fowler area...
but the gunn hwy area is Great..i wish can live in that area...
i live like 25mins away from tarpon springs....i live on water ave. and its a great area and cheap 2..if you dont mind the drive u should check out the southwest area of tampa/airport area

i will look into all that, i am going to tarpon this weekend for my dads bday (31st) so ill talk to them. they went to tarpon because of the schools, i have a 10 year old sister. so they were looking for areas with better public schools. me i dont have any kids so it doesnt really matter at this point, just dont want my shit getting stolen or getting shot up lol.

i have been around the water ave area, to meet up with some friends for gasparilla. what town/city of tampa you in?

just look for A place a gated apt places ....not like my place...i hate this place the gate 2 come in does not work but the gate 2 go out works...

how is that area?? when i move im not lookin to rent an apt. after i get my job i am buying a house. i will be able to afford one. even if my g/f wasnt with me i would be able to afford one. that area is nearby work/school, and not too bad of a drive to the folks if i ever have to go up there. when i move most likely ill just stay at the folks till the house goes through.

if i remember correctly the female to male ratio is like 4 females to 1 guy

i plan on going too myself ..... it prolly would be good for you to get out of your home city and hit up tampa area

I'm a senior at USF...im still living in the student apartments around Fletcher/56th...

Carrolwood is prob your best bet...i work out there and its nice, plus you can find some cheap rental homes...only downside is the traffic around 275 in the afternoons...

As far as the University goes, its not too bad.. the infrastructure could use some help, their billing system is pretty bad, so make sure you take proactive steps to pay your tuition, etc...

Overall, its a pretty solid place, ive been happy for the 4 years ive been here.

i dont really have a home city. i graduated in ft. lauderdale, moved to orlando, my folks moved to tampa, and when i get my as degree i have a job waiting for me in tampa. i have a g/f and very soon future fiance lol, so the ratio is nice to look at when im there, but cant touch lol.

money wont be a problem so a rental home or something would only be necesarry for a couple months to a year till i find a house to buy. i was looking at carrolwood, but i like palm harbour area as well. right now i as just looking at houses online to try and figure out how the neighborhoods are.
