Josh, i top off my tank and clear the trip odometer. i drive around on the highway for a while and return to the gas station to top off once more. I then divide the number of gallons i filled by the number of miles on the trip odometer.
Strictly downtown driving, i get between 21 and 23. Highway, i get 38ish. My absolute best is 38.9 mpg
