For those of you who have never been to AFM, or have been to other big meets and felt out of sorts- THIS is the opposite of those experiences.
I personally, am glad that the awards were done away with. (Mostly cause Oscar would win them all ;P) But more because it creates competition, and rivalry- which I am ok without.

I went down there with one of my guy friends (My BF couldn't make it, so he sent me with back-up- lol) and I felt so welcome! It was not awkward, not clique-y, and my friend, who is a Vdub guy, felt welcome as well.

Props to yall down there who put this on! Its so well done, and your hospitality is warm as the breeze. (it was 85 that Saturday!)

so im guessing no one needs a hotel room for AFM2K13 right??? because i just received a phone call from best western telling me that no one has booked their hotel rooms yet ...so whats sup there are 40 rooms block off just for us for a great deal and noone has book smh i see 152+ attendees and zero rooms booked
