ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    good sounding muffler

Hey guys, just need some advice/opinion in getting a new muffler/exhaust system. My motor is stock f22a4, Reactive short ram intake with Fujita filter. I'm basically looking for something that sounds deep with a lot of bass, but not too loud.

    Thanks

Cool!, yeah I hear some good things about the greddy evo's but the muffler body is too big, my car is kinda low right now. I might try the SP or Apexi's. Thanks guys

Go with a Magnaflow. They have a deep tone and don't sound ricey!!

Tanabe Hyper Medalion cat back sounds really deep and is not to loud, but you will pay $$$ for it. I had that cat back on a old civic that ran me $425+shipping, but the website was having a really big sale on Tanabe products at the time.

I currently have a round Magnaflow universal muffler that the previous owner had installed. I like it. Sound is not as deep as the Tanabe, but it is also quieter. I like it just as much as the Tanabe and it didn't cost me a thing.

This is an image of the muffler I had on my '92 Accord. I wish I had some pics of it actually on my car, but the pics I took before I totalled it didn't save to the memory card for some reason. It's beautiful though cuz the wide oval shape fits the bumper cutout perfectly. Plus it had a really low, deep rumble at cruise and an aggressive but not remotely ricey tone during hard acceleration.

I went with a Magnaflow (got it CHEAP!). I found it a bit too loud for my taste, but not ricey at all, very low. But instead of getting a new exhaust setup I installed a CC insert and that made it even more awesome sounding and quieted it down. I also shot it with high temp paint so it blended right into the undercarriage.
