ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

just remember that cut springs are dangerous and can affect the geometry of your suspension. Everybody here would recommend swapping out springs. I have had cut springs before and the only thing i seen wrong with it was the camber problems i had. i leave it up to you. you can pic up some cheap ebay springs for under 100.

cut springs> ebay springs> ebay coilovers

i dont know if yall cut too much off when you do it but i have two coils off each spring and the ride is still awesome. it also depends on which end you cut. i cut the top.

but this is on an integra so it might be different

X2 there is a right and wrong way to cut springs.

I thought I'd never say this but I've been in a civic with Cut springs and that shit was garbage. My friend at work just aquired a 93 EX coupe and he couldn't wait to drop it. He cut the springs and surprisingly those rode just nice. He's a mechanic and been in the game for awhile with Hondas, Nissans and Toyotas so I guess there is a skill to it? I sold him my Ground Controls and when he put those on....surprisingly they felt shittier than his cut springs Ground Controls spring rates are harsh anyways compared to OEM but I was amazed. Oh btw he cut off the top as well.

I recommend Eibach Sportline springs. The drop is not TOO aggressive but it gives the accord a nice stance. If you are not going all out and getting a true adjustable coilover suspension, I suggest getting Sportlines because they are comfortable like OEM springs on the road granted u mate them with some descent good struts. KYB GR2s did the job nicely for me.
