ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

I just need a new grille and I'm not going to use mine which is in an almost new condition. I always use scrap for such projects.
If your going to glass the bottom and top where the H honda emblem use a piece of cardboard and glue it. Then glass over it in steps hope this helps

Wait what happened to that round cut you were trying to fill in?

This is just my opinion and don't take it as an insult but I don't like it... The paint match isn't a great success and it is more than a little off to my eyes. Also, it would've looked so much better if you would've shaved that round cut.

Edit: Sorry I realized the one with the shaved curve isn't yours...

I actually used the same color to do my rim rings and the color on those seems to have mellowed a little since I painted them a week or so ago. Hopefully the same will happen for my grille so the color matches even better, otherwise I'll strip it off and get a different burgundy auto paint to work with that may match better or else just paint it flat black. The lip I have is a Spoon lip btw.

It's really not that big of a deal to do one, I just took my time so it would come as good as possible.

I just started this about a week ago. I got the center part of the grill cut out and am more than likely going to use the bleach bath method to see what happens. I haven't made it any further though do to lack of funds. I need fiberglass for it but I need it for my bodykit too I need the big container of it and it's gonna be a little bit of money that day so I have to wait for now. Pics comming soon. 92 grille if anyone was curious.

It's not hard to do it if you have right tools for this jod, have you ever worked with fiber glass and bondo? sanding is tricky because you need to get small sanding block to get in between top and bottom(wood plank is fine for this mine was 3/4" x 2" x 6") and still be able to fit your hand in there to hold it.

overal I'm happy how it came out, some old picture
