ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    Fog lights

    hello everyone
I have a few questions lol
i have the 92 accord and 96 accord and,
i'm moving to Iowa so i need to get some fog lights, and i was wondering what kind do you recommend? or what brand?
    thanks

    #2
OEM or JDM fogs would look best.

But, you can go to any car parts stre and get universal fog lights.

OE fogs are nice for looks, but their light output leaves a lot to be desired.

The rectangular lights on my accord have great output for their size, and they are around $20 at Wal-Mart or Autozone. I even upgraded them to 100 watt bulbs (though I had to upgrade the wiring harness too).

PIAAs are nice, I had 4 on my F150.
You can put OEM fogs in your bumper, the outline is on the backside of the bumper.

The trim lines where you'd have to cut are on the back of the bumper, for OE fogs.

                PIAA fogs/driving lights are awesome.

                ...but OEM fogs are better.

OEM fogs are great and JDM are even better but if you're lookin for something that you can use now and get the real deal later PIAA are a good choice but, look at these an see what you thinkhttp://www.autozone.com/Ntt,fog+ligh...iesResults.htm you have to enter your zip code to check the price but, it shouldn't be more than $24.

I got a pair of OEM Marchals of a Dodge Spirit R/T... Also got a pair of the "yellow caps" from Vigor foglights. Hacked out the back of the Marchals where the OE 25w bulb would go, JB welded in the yellw cap, and put is some 130W bulbs.

                    They seem pretty bright.

                    Total cost was like $12.00
