well.. if it was on a switch you wouldnt have to throw it in reverse. Most people are decent and notice when their lights are in the mirrors of the people in front of them and turn them off. But sometimes theres some kid driving his dads lifted F250 and it would be nice to flip the switch and give them a little taste of it. Cmon.. an hid in your tail lights.. thats rad. Its not like he went out and spent a lot of money for this mod. He had it laying around and was tired of not being able to see. I have tint in my windows and I know how it goes.

I am tinted as well (20% all around) but you seemed to have missed my point of:

What are you going to do, throw it in reverse wait for the H.I.D to warm up and blind their grill?

If they are high enough for their headlight beam to be directly in line with your mirror then they are most likely high enough not to be affected by the H.I.D.

Man that sounds dangerous, that could be a nasty accident and you probably would get away with it since they won't be able to see your plate as easily

It is illegal....they dont make HIDS for reverse light purposes....

it is a matter of time before you get a ticket.....somewhere somehow a cop will notice and not approve.

Im not hating but it ticks me off when people disregard saftey for personal gain.

I cant see how its that hard to see at night with regular reverse lights. Thats just my opinion.

this shit is kool. mainly due to the fact i have tinted windows and when its cold its a bitch to roll dow na window or open a door to back out.

however putting it on a toggle to get back at tailgaters not smart... what if one is a cop? or a friend just goofing with you and u blind them. then u will be responsible for the wreck that could possibly take a life.

leave it on a relay and use it properly and this a great mod. come on guys look at consiquinces of some of our actions. And u wonder why people flame us "racers and silly import racers" dunno about you but that offends me.
