ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    My DIY Amber Corners!!

So I decided to go amber.

One of my corners was already open. The other one I couldn't open it so i just sprayed over it. The pictures are self explanatory. I think they came out OK. I really didn't expect regular orange paint to work. I will take pics later today when they are installed in my cb. I'm so happy. What you guys think???

Not going to work, the paint has no translucent properties.

Should have went with orange/yellow Dupicolor MetalCast.
                wat?

The correct paint is orange/yellow Krylon Stained Glass Paint as seen here:

please refrain from using body color paint to complete this specific DIY, as it may endanger yourself and others, if you would like im pretty sure i have a spare can in the attic that i can give you for free if you would not mind paying for shipping. pm me with questions.

This is my first DIY obviously there are some errors. There just a bit of a problem trying to get spray paint here in chicago. The stores won't sell. About that Michael's store, i haven't seen one here in Chicago. I been to Autozone, Murrays, Advance Auto Parts, NAPA, Home Depot, and alot of others stores. And like i said some stores won't sell in the city. Others don't have the paint. Only at Pep-boys i found this. They didn't wanted to sell it. But thanks to all for your info. I'm pretty sure i can remove the paint using thinner, acetone, or paint remover. I work with this substances everyday so i have no problem using them. tomorrow is another day i will keep searching for the paint. good day fellas.

Stained glass is much better off if u wanna attempt a diy, but @ least u tried. Now u kno not 2 use that paint anymore. And 7.99 per led isn't worth it when a can of stained glass paint is 6 bucks.

                      Edit

Jus buy some on ebay or head to the jy and try again.
