ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Hmm...I dunno...I like the idea, but what exactly could you blackhouse? it uses the whole thing as the reflector...plus light output with stock H3's is already horrible...Try it and let us know!

Yeah, I'm going with what DarkFusion said. Light output
would not be to great, and as for the emblem...
I would scuff it up, and paint it. They look nice also, when
cleared. It gives the car a nice clean touch.

I wouldn't blackhouse your fogs. It will make them look like the inside of the housing is dirty, since you can't really see through the lens all that well.

This is about as far as you can blackhouse without losing output:

If I was too do that I would black out the sides and top and leave the rear part if the reflective bowl only

edit: or maybe try what the bimmer guys do to blackhouse their round oldschool headlights, not sure if that would work in this case but we'll see pics later.

Ok, look at this pic, they use somet type of insert(2)(make from thin aluminum or tin in most cases(paint black) and when put together its looks like a "+" or "x"inside the headlight(high beam) and the reflector reflects this black color giving it a smoked look. I'm still trying to find pics pf the inserts themselves but its simple DIY. I think you make sometime like that to fir your fog

here is link to the diy, you'll see what the guy uses

I would Blck house the outer lining of it just a bit and go with a 3K HID in it and you should have a descent output of light. If you are worried about the output gp with the 6K and be done with it.

You could blackhouse the top and bottom. Everything but the relector. I dont know if it will look good though.
