ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

i would replace your window regulator and check the outer applica on the back side of the door to make sure the retainer is still intact for the window. have the same problem but since i work at a body shop doing the same thing on other cars all day i just to lazy to put my new one in LOL

my drivers side window would only roll down about 2 inches, then make a nasty noise like something was jammed. i ended up going the JY and pulling a regualtor/motor. it turns out the motor was the problem, so i just switched motors. one cause could probably the wires, another might be that the teeth on the regualtor are broke off, which was the problem with the one i bought at the JY, thats why i just used the motor. pull it out and check to make sure the teeth are all still there, if thats fine, try replacing the motor.

My peeps I tOo have experienced that issue and this is what a mechanic told me
After some time the seal that goes around the window will stretch due to non lub
So thus resulting in a bundle when the window goes up he said replace the seal
and make sure its latched from a hook that is inside of the
Door. So I replaced it and now it works fine

Now bout the down motion the problem could be that the
window relay is broken. there is a small plastic part at the
top of the real for the wire to slide well its plastic
And the wire isn't so in time it becomes a saw and starts to
cut the plastic. it begin to get stuck here's the trick I used pull
the window up when you want it to go up and down when you
want the window to go down.
                But I'd just replace it.

                  Window

Ok so I think I have the same issue.

But mine will go up and down just fine. The regulator has a good amount of fresh lube (done today) and I get still a crooked window when it's all way up heres a pic. Any ideas, my regulator is not bent and the teeth are there and not worn badly.
