ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    custom drink holder

I love my CB with all my heart, but the drink holder just doesn't cut it. It took a lot of work to make this, but the end result is perfect. It is made from plexiglass and wood. I bought some material to wrap it, but I have not had a chance to put it on yet. It will look sweet after it is covered.

here are some pix sitting on the material I will be wrapping it with.

    side shot

pix of it in car. Fits perfectly and will hold most big drinks. The right side is a little tray under the E-brake handle.

I am hoping to have time to wrap it this weekend. I need to take my time so it will look nice. I will post pix when it is done. What do you think?
    Forgive my dirty interior.

Nice work. I think it will get in the way when a cup is in it though.

Will it be attached to the console in anyway or is it just gonna sit there?

pour a can of bull on the console, put the holder in it where you want it, and let it sit in the sun for a while. I swear spilled redbull is better than epoxy.

A really tall drink does get in the way a little bit when shifting, but most cups don't affect me at all.

It actualy sits really tight in there. I am using velcro under it though. I didn't want to put screws into the plastic in case it need to come out.

get some 10mm bolts and bolt that bitch down...don't use sticky stuff on your interior...velco doesn't hold very good for a while...bolts would be cleaner.

if you do use velcro get the GOOD shit! It will be REALLY stiff velcro on both sides...don't use that crap that is cloth like...use the hard stuff
