ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

i've never owned a car that wasnt tinted.. this is my integra.... 5% all the way around, and 35% on the entire front windshield. 5% or go home IMO.

        not great pictures, but whatever...

take it to a professional. The film they sell at stores like walmart and autozone is composed of 100% dye. Dye fades over time... in less than a years time, your windows will begin to turn purple.

If you take it to a pro, the film will be something like 80% metallic, 20% dye... with that kind of ratio, the tint will never fade.

              Threadjack

How about window tint removing, the old purply shit? Heat gun?

Ive seen some precut kits on ebay for cheap.

I dont know about the rest of the country, but in Illinois, you can tint 6 inches from the top and 6 inches from the bottom on the windshield..and um on cars older then 88 all the windows can be tinted..but theres also some law where the tint has to be from the factory after that year.. I dunno FTP

x2, leave it to them because they'll take good care of the vehicle in assuring that there are no mistakes, you'll have the warranty too. Oh and just incase you wanted to know the window tint law in your state.

I have tinted windows a cople of times in civics and have tinted the accord two times, if you want it to be completely perfect like for autoshow, youll have to take it to a [pro] i took out the front windshields and they didnt turnout perfect( by perfect i mean absolutely no bubbles and 1/8th inch all around.

5% looks tacky on hondas imo. A "VIP'd" honda, Mayybe. just my 2pennies. Really just depends on the overall style of the car.
