ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Suspension Opinions

I currently have skunk 2's on tokico blues...but it rides hard and sits high..so I am looking to swap them out for some better suspension and I need your guys help.

I am debating between these two:

    - Omni Power Coilovers Steet 10k/8k
    or
    - TEIN Basic coilover system
    or
    - Anything you suggest

I am looking for something that sits lower and has a good quality ride or just any info on these products!

    Any help is appreciated!

From personal experience, the Omni Power coilovers are awesome. They ride great and are a good bang for your buck, I can't say anything about the neuspeed cup kits...

the 10k/8k is the spring rates.

ive had both function and form type-2s and the neuspeed kit with sport springs. the coilovers road a little stiffer then the neuspeed set up but both handle very well. make sure to use bump stops on the konis if you get the super cup kit so you dont blow the struts.

how would you blow their struts? They are designed for that setup aren't they?

*super cup kit is springs and shock...koni yellows + neuspeed race springs...not just springs

The bumpstop is there to prevent unwanted bottoming out. Frequent bottoming out will make the strut go down to unwanted zones , thus making the strut a step closer to pre-mature failure. It is a safety feature. Yes , you can run with no bumpstop but they will be closer to blowing out than standard.

yes, look on www.weaksauce.org for a pretty good selection of coilovers.

type-1's will ride similar to stock with no dampening adjustments.

type-2's have dampening adjustments so you got have a softer or stiffer ride....no pun intended.

                              So the question is now...

                              Omnipower Full Coilover Street
                              or
                              Form and Function Type 1

                              Which do you guys recommend?
