ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Eibach Sportlines or AroSpeed Coilovers?

I can pick up both for the same price... just wondering what I'll have less problems with?

I have read that coilovers can slip and be a PITA, but are nice that you can set the ride height exactly where you want it... other issues are that you might get a bouncy ride.

Where on the Eibach springs you get no ride height adjustment, but also no problems - just bolt in and dropped. No bounce, no slipping.

Which would you go with? How are the AroSpeed coilovers? I am familiar with Eibach's name/quality, but not AroSpeed.

BTW, the AroSpeed's are sleeves, not full coilovers. And I'm on 18's.

I've NEVER liked Arospeed's products. When I first got into this scene, they were nothing but another cheapo company. The only thing they ever had that I liked was a set of wheels... that they no longer make.

Eibach makes great stuff. So do H&R, Neuspeed, and Tein.

When you lower your car, PLEASE replace your shocks as well. It is very dangerous not to.

They're a bit better than no-name knockoff brands, but they still aren't high quality. I'm actually surprised they're still in business, unless these are used or overstock...

definitely get the sportlines. i loved the ride on them, perfect height and ride, still doing well 4+ years later. i only got rid of them (put them on my brothers car) in favor of the Neuspeed race springs because they are lower.

You don't have to like what he did, but I would hope that you can appreciate the time, money and love that went in to the build. If you can't, you're not really an enthusiast, just another dumb kid with a car.-visualpoet
