I agree about Ronald's car.
Depends what sort of aero you're talking about. Do you want to reduce the drag coefficient, or create more downforce? Usually they go together. Higher drag coefficient = more downforce. But not always. As far as knowing what body kits/lips/splitters/canards work the best...not sure. I doubt anyone on the board has access to fluid dynamic analysis software, or a wind tunnel.
Most bodykits and spoilers that are for the CB aren't going to do much for you.
Without being able to really analyze it, I would say that by design a splitter setup like Ronald's is the best way to go over any body kit. Canards can help as well, but then you have the issue of figuring out the proper angle.
The CB isn't very aerodynamic to begin with, and unless you're building a hardcore road race car, there's no reason to bother really. The difference it would make would be at speeds or conditions rarely or never seen on the street.Last edited by mndude07; 12-22-2009, 07:09 PM.There are no black and white suspension answers!!!!!!!!!!!

The front lip is a GReddy lip for a BB6.Originally posted by theSOB View Postdamn that looks nice. where do i find one of those?? lol. is it for our car? i see ppl have asked on his MT but he just smiles and doesnt say yes or no. would 94 accord or a prelude one fit?
The splitter is JDM Modern Garage CF.
Clearly says so on his MRT.

The Greddy Gracer lips are discontinued. They're rare, and made of FRP I believe...not urethane, so they can crack fairly easily. The carbon fiber splitters he has attached to the lip are separate. You can buy those several places.Originally posted by theSOB View Postdamn that looks nice. where do i find one of those?? lol. is it for our car? i see ppl have asked on his MT but he just smiles and doesnt say yes or no. would 94 accord or a prelude one fit?
This might sound stupid to you, but I recommend you make your own splitters out of sheet metal or wood first and see if you even feel a difference...unless you just want them for looks. There are no black and white suspension answers!!!!!!!!!!!

well, it is mostly for looks, as mine is trashed. but i also dont want a bumper thats like a box trying to move fast lol. the one i have now is very bulky and i want something that kind of splits the air rather than push it. i may just start with a stock bumper and customize itThe Greddy Gracer lips are discontinued. the lip is not for a BB6, the BB6 lip can be made to fit but requires a good amount of fabbing. ronald said his bolted straight up with no problems.Originally posted by JoshM View PostThe front lip is a GReddy lip for a BB6.

Good point.Originally posted by gloryaccordy View PostDo u road race?
If you don't race your car, you don't need added downforce. In fact, it will only decrease fuel economy.
Most kit makers do not design their parts in a wind tunnel. The only one I know of that designs every single part in a wind tunnel is Mugen. I'm not even sure if there are any authentic Mugen parts made for the CB! Most "Mugen" parts I see are made in the style of Mugen parts made for other cars.
Without wind tunnel engineering, most body kit parts are only for looks. They MIGHT help, or they might hurt.
Regardless, if you aren't driving it on a road course, you don't need it.

You don't need to worry about downforce. It would be unnecessary for you to buy something for this purpose if you don't even race your car outside of a straight line. Your car isn't fast enough to really have to worry about aero either.
A stock bumper, with a nice front lip such as a Mugen replica would suit you fine.
