9293 bumper conversion

Can't really decide here. There's a nice white 93 EXR at the local yard. I much prefer the look of the 9293 rear bumpers, but I'm iffy on the front bumpers. However, this particular one has OEM fogs and lip spoiler which makes it more attractive to me. I can get the parts cheap, like probably less than $80.

You guys think I should do a 9293 bumper swap on my 91? My front bumper needs replacing anyways, and my rear is so scratched up is may as well be repainted.

Here's some pics of the possible doner car. The hood is already on my car lol. I don't want the 93 trunk lid or spoiler though.





So yeah, I can't decide. I already have a bumper,fender and door that need to be painted,so why not add one more bumper?

Ha,in the second pic,if you look behind and to the left of the car you see the corner of a red mazda pickup. That's my old project I gave up on when I got the Accord lol.

Only reason I would get it is for the fogs... I like the 9091 front bumper a little more than the 9293.

Yeah, I have a black 90 LX front bumper to replace my busted 91 one with,so it needs to be painted before I put it on. I prefer the turn signals on the 9091, but this 9293 looks decent just cuz it has the fogs and I like the lip spoiler style better cuz it kinda flares out a little on the front under the lights and isnt just flat like the 9091.

YOUR CRAZY! why are you starting this thread? someone could be unbolting that bumper as we speak....if i lived near you id race to get it before you. Both bumpers look good but look at this way, your getting a bumper and the fogs for $80 instead of $80 for bumper and $140+ for fogs.....if you decide not to get em then buy the fogs for me ill give u $100

I would say keep the 90-91. I personally like the 90-91 better but Im not a fan of the 90-91 tails so I swapped everything(or almost)!

Looks good. I like both styles of tails, but I already got red/clears, so I'm not going to swap now. I'll just do the bumper swap.

And I've also decided that since I have about half of the car that needs to be painted, I read through the Maaco thread on here, and I think I'll do the body and prep work and have them spray my car in the spring. And It won't be solaris silver. What a fucking terrible colour.

I like the 9293 look better then the 9091, the fogs on a 9293 look better then the a 9091 front bumper w/ fogs imo, that is just me I would have hopped on that shit on the first glance.
