ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Need help with HID's and K temp

So i recently got into this HID kit stuff from a buddy since he gave me a pair but he gave me ones with like insane blue which is way to bright (9006)
What Temp are these? I got new HIDs from ddm tuning for 15 bucks (8k) and they came out not quite what i wanted.
I want in between i want a hint of blue but not white but not insane blue. any suggestions or pictures you can show me? Lastly i got fogs with regular lights in the fogs (halogen), and i want matching to my lights so im getting those (h3) and i dont know how to put in. any suggestions let me know wanna spend my money towards what i want.

Judging from the pics (which aren't always accurate), the top pic looks 12,000K and the bottom pic looks 6000K.

For the most visible light, stay within the 4300K and 6000K range.
If you want bluer light, go with 8000K or 10000K.

As for your fogs, Nokya sells blue bulbs that closely match the color of the bottom pic.

You can get Nokya bulbs from eBay. Their hyper yellow bulbs would look great in the fogs.

most OE HID bulbs are right around 4300k.
they consider this closest to daylight. therefore most efficient at night.

the higher the temp, the bluer they get (less efficient), until you go even beyond that, then they start getting purple (nothing worthy but color)...

I wouldn't recommend going with anything over 6000K. The light ouput will suffer and you will regret it.

yea, 4300 is pretty much OEM. 5000-6000 is white with a light blue tint with it. But anymore is...rice/horrible light out put.

+1 on keeping it around 6000k. Though I have seen a S2000 around where i live with 30,000K purples that are insanely bright but somewhat odd.

                    Depends on the bulb manufac.

Every K is different where you get the bulbs from. I sell them 12k and there not that bluye, 15+ K is very blue. 8k almost white with a hint of blue and so on.
