Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    tow hook

    i was wondering if anyone knows if there is any way to put a tow hook in the middle of the back bumper cuz i cant find anything to bolt it on
    any suggestions?

      you already have a tow hook. So adding one will be purely for looks alone as it is excessive and un needed...most people will consider it ricey. your car is front wheel drive which means it gets towed with the front up. My muffler scrapes over bumps on a wrecker and I can't imagine a half foot extension sticking out the back to "make it easier to tow." Also I can't imagine it'd make it too fun pulling in and out of steep entrances. It would really just be a waste of money in my opinion...but if it's that important to you to have then have it welded/weld it to the body and hope the wrecker doesn't rip a hole in ur trunk floor. Spend that money getting your bumper cleaned up first if you need a visual mod.

        your probably going to need to weld to get one on in the middle.

        Probably find the one you are looking for, cut it off said car and weld it to the CB7.

          it actually is functional for track or non-track cars. i will be getting for the simple fact that the front end of my CB is too low for the tow truck driver to just simply get under the car to hook up. id have to take off the front bumper for him to be able to get to it without ripping off the lip.


          to the OP, get it. ill be getting 2 of them. one for the front. one for the back.

            I've seen it for the front and it looks decent.

            I haven't seen if for the rear yet.

              IMHO i think tow hooks are kinda ricey on a street car
